Stormy weather....

It so blustery and rainy here at the moment, even Tilly has taken to hibernation!

oh my gosh how cute........ thanks for stopping by and you had better not offer too many times about that bisto.... I can still taste it... I have promised my son and my brother and his wife a old fashioned English meal.. It has been a very long time since I did that but I am going to give it a try... When I lived in England I did not have a refrigerator .. we kept our meat in a meat safe out side on the back wall.. I had a coal bin and coke bin in my back coal shed.. We used coke to keep the water hot and the coal to heat with... We used sixpence for the TV and a shilling for the gas meter in the pantry!!!!! How funny is that... what memories...

I am going to cook a leg of lamb with mint sauce, roasted potatoes and carrots with some Brussels sprouts and of course Yorkshire pudding...... YUM!!!!!!!! I will let you know how that goes......

Hi Michelle,

I found you through your comment at Karla's blog.
Your dog's so cute, I've got a great big dog who's got the personality of Nana in Peter Pan.

I see you like Beaches (that's one of my favorites!) and treasure hunting.

I see you're from the UK, my great-grandparent's came over from Cornwall.

Being new to blog land myself, I've got so much to learn.

Hope the weather's cleared up!

Hi Michelle,
Me again. Thanks for adding me to your favourites, I've done the same for you!

I'd love to share blog findings. It's a little overwhelming isn't it? Especially going to some of the beauties out there (which is so inspiring!).

It's like the Little Engine that Could... I think I can, I think I can! Look forward to visiting with you soon.
xoxo,
Tracie

by the way, that cake looks very yummy - may try to make it this weekend!
