A BIG thank you

To my new friend in the blogging world....Priscilla of Priscilla's Cottage (you will find her blog on my fave list!).
I want to say thank you to her for her kind words, being the 1st ever person to post a comment and her blogging help.

My 2nd parcel today..

I also received a beautiful Christmas gift from my friend Jill in the US (Hi Jill!!)

She is a super crocheter (is that such a word!?) and made me this little fellow, also knowing my weakness for all things covered in chocolate, some Reese's peanut butter tree's. Mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

Look what came in the post today....

My beautiful t-towels arrived today from Cath Kidston! I am so pleased with them! I will put them to good use as soon as the holidays are over and I have my "me" time back again!!
They will NOT be used for drying dishes that is for sure!

Even the packaging is spectacular!! I cant bear to part with it, like a true craftster though I will re-use it.....somehow!!

The most wonderful time of the year!

Yes...Cath Kidston sale has started! and Ive just ordered some of the most beautiful tea-towels! Dont you just love the prints?

They are so retro/vintage and remind me so much of linens and things my Nan used to have!

Here is the fireplace in the family room.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my Christmas home as much as I enjoy looking at others!

Candy cane

Im enjoying all things primitive at the moment!

I made this vintage style candy cane, which i scented with "Christmas splendour" oil (a mix of cinnamon, berries, nutmeg etc) it smells so yummy!

A close up of my dresser with some bits and bobs I made before the Christmas rush!!

And here is the dresser in the dining room, again I put all the usual bits and bobs away until after the holidays and fill it with Christmas stuff!

A few of the things are handmade by me, like the little reindeer treat bag on the top shelf!

This is the fireplace in the family room.
Hope you have enjoyed looking at my Christmas home as much as I enjoy looking at others!

This is my kids tree, which we love!
Its so colourful!
