oh my gosh how cute........ thanks for stopping by and you had better not offer too many times about that bisto.... I can still taste it... I have promised my son and my brother and his wife a old fashioned English meal.. It has been a very long time since I did that but I am going to give it a try... When I lived in England I did not have a refrigerator .. we kept our meat in a meat safe out side on the back wall.. I had a coal bin and coke bin in my back coal shed.. We used coke to keep the water hot and the coal to heat with... We used sixpence for the TV and a shilling for the gas meter in the pantry!!!!! How funny is that... what memories... I am going to cook a leg of lamb with mint sauce, roasted potatoes and carrots with some Brussels sprouts and of course Yorkshire pudding...... YUM!!!!!!!! I will let you know how that goes......
